I serve on the Board of Directors for CREA, a nonprofit in rural Nicaragua that creates educational opportunities for children, teens, and families. CREA runs a vibrant Learning Center in Las Salinas, where kids can read, learn, and grow through literacy programs, academic support, and youth leadership activities.As a board member, I help guide the organization’s growth, support fundraising efforts, and spread the word about CREA’s mission. In 2024, I helped support the opening of six new classrooms—beautiful, welcoming spaces where even more young people can learn and thrive.
