About Marc Villemade
I\'ve been working in the IT business for almost 20 years now starting with my own company at 21, as a web developer and I have, since then, expanded and developed my skills in several areas such as systems architecture, database administration, large infrastructure operations handling and management, and more recently getting into (pre-)sales for IT solutions, focused on large scale storage environments.I\'m now the Chief Solutions Architect for Scality, a storage company I have been part of since its inception. In this role:* I provide worldwide guidance, training and mentoring for the SE Community,* Help the SE community deliver a strong and coherent message worldwide * Own the SE on-boarding process and its evolution, as well as the SE training curriculum, and the periodical training activities * Chair the committee making design and go/no-go decisions on complex deals * Actively participate in strategic accounts in an expert architect role
