ABOUT MARCUS WALDON

From maintaining systems on the shop floor to architecting multi-million dollar automation strategies, my career in robotics has come full circle.I’ve spent the last decade-plus deep in the lifecycle of industrial automation. I started by getting my hands dirty maintaining and process-improving high-volume robotic systems at L&W Engineering. That foundational experience taught me one thing: a robot is only as good as the process supporting it.I then transitioned into the world of high-stakes integration. At R&E Automated, Acro Automation, and later Productive Robotics and OTC Daihen, I focused on the \"how\"—integrating complex cells that had to perform flawlessly from day one.My most recent tenure as a Regional Sales Manager at OTC Daihen brought my experience full circle. It allowed me to take everything I knew about maintenance, process improvement, and integration and apply it to the commercial and strategic side of the industry. I don\'t just sell systems; I understand the mechanical, electrical, and software hurdles required to make them a success. The Technical Toolkit:Throughout my career, I’ve developed a plethora of experience across the industry\'s leading platforms, with a deep specialization in:Fanuc Robotics: Expert-level path and job optimization and extensive experience in programming, deployment, and troubleshooting.Motoman / Yaskawa Systems: Expert-level path optimization and system configuration.Process Improvement: Proven track record of reducing cycle times and increasing uptime in tier-one environments. The New Mission: Unbound Robotics Inc.I founded Unbound Robotics Inc. to bring this 360-degree perspective to my clients. We provide specialized consulting that bridges the gap between traditional industrial robotics and the next frontier: Physical AI. Whether you need a Fanuc cell programmed, a fixture designed, or a long-term automation roadmap, I bring the \"boots on the ground\" experience to ensure your project is unbound by the typical limitations of modern integration.
