Baker Wilkins & Smith is an ‘RICS Regulated’ international firm of construction consultants, our main core services being quantity surveying and project management.We were established in London in 1955 based on the original founders’ combined interest in international projects, mainly in Saudi Arabia. This soon spread to the whole Gulf region, Africa and the Far East. Whilst maintaining a strong presence in the UK there was always a great emphasis on international markets. We opened our first Middle East office in Bahrain in 1972 and have a strong association in the Lebanon.The UK and international offices have always worked extremely closely on a day to day basis and this has been the foundation of our success particularly in the Middle East. A large proportion of our most recent projects have been in the hospitality, residential, retail, landscaping and public realm and major mixed-use commercial sectors. We have also built up an expertise in specialist areas such as dispute resolution, heavy engineering and historic building restoration.
