About Marcus Pankey
As a fourth-year Health Policy and Management major at the Gillings School of Global Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, healthcare has always been a great interest of mine. Through my involvement as a volunteer with the Carolina COVID-19 Student Service Corps, administering COVID-19 PCR tests, and working as an MRI Patient Services Specialist (PSS) at OrthoCarolina, an NC-based orthopedic clinic, I saw the disparities within healthcare and realized great change was needed. I am very eager to find opportunities that will allow me to grow in the administrative world of healthcare.
