Novatech Automation creates a line of SCADA devices for utilities. The company is a competitor to SEL and gives a similar offering of products and services. Because of this, design engineers are well versed with interaction with SEL RTACs as well as SEL relays, reclosers, etc. Mr. Moses is working as a design and implementation engineer for RTU projects. In his duties, he is required to create Novatech configuration files using points lists, or less, from electrical utility clients. There are also instances where the creation of SEL RTAC configurations using AcSELerator and HMI creation using AcSELerator Design Builder is required for interaction with an existing Novatech SCADA device. Mr. Moses has experience in factory acceptance testing, MultiSpeak implementation, HMI creation using substation diagrams, Novatech configuration file creation, SEL RTAC configuration creation, GE D20 breaker configuration file creation, wiring diagrams, and substation networking using TCP/IP carrying DNP3, MODBUS and SEL protocols.
