Consultant, Favorite Part of My Day:Contracted to design and deliver equity and inclusion strategy and training for K-12, higher-education, nonprofit, and enterprise environment, I examine and teach DEI topics including identifying bias and microaggressions. Key projects included: • School Districts: I led faculty, staff, and leadership in DEI 101, bias, and microaggression training to better identify challenges impacting students. I engaged leaders in difficult conversations and activities, earning positive feedback from participants and continued requests for resources. • Legacy Membership Organization: I engaged the board of directors, leadership, and staff in identifying opportunities to connect with and recruit diverse future members. I created assessments and advised on branding, reputation, and marketing. I trained the board on engaging with diverse members while creating opportunities to improve discourse. • Statewide After-School Curriculum: I authored five after-school programs on diversity, microaggressions, and identity allowing administrators and teachers easy access to impactful resources for elementary, middle, and high school students.
