ABOUT MARCUS GEORGE
Marcus is an editor and executive speechwriter for Shell, covering the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. He crafts speeches, op-eds and strategic communications for senior Shell executives and trains Shell\'s communications teams in how to write. Prior to his current role, Marcus was an analyst and communications consultant and has travelled widely to cover current affairs across the Gulf for journalism and corporate clients. He has developed a special focus on energy affairs in MENA and how energy resources, the global economic climate and geo-political considerations intersect to shape the region. Prior to arriving in the Gulf, he worked for BBC News for over a decade in a range of roles including television and radio correspondent in Washington DC.
