On the Saturday an introduction was given on the NCS programme outlining their principles and ethos. This was followed by some First Aid Training On Sunday the lessons covered tried and tested techniques to get the best out of the young people I would be working with, we spoke more about the staff handbook and the expectations and policies of the programme, we touched upon week 3 and 4\'s activities of the social action projects and what we could expect from this and a little insight to one of the programmes we would be running involving the the use of remote controlled vechilesWeek 2 was spent at the University of Bedfordshire Halls of Residents and for this week the young people were responsible for cooking all 3 of their meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and this week was much more relaxed in terms of all the activities were with in 5 minutes walking distance and located on the grounds of the University. This week focus on putting staff members in control in terms of delivering sessions which we were all trained in doing so during the weekend of training >Week 3 At the end of week 2 all Team Members and Assistant Team Members were given detail of where the base will be for their Social Action Project which would last for the last 2 weeks of the 4 week NCS Journey.Week 4 Unfortunately I had some personal matters which arose during week 4 and was unable to attend for the last week of the project.
