ABOUT MARCUS WHYTE
I have over 25 years plus of experience working across the recruitment and professional services sector with a proven track record of placing talent into senior executive roles and working with organisations to diversify their talent pipelines.In 2012, I founded Zyna Search, an executive search firm specialising in placing Black talent into senior executive roles and succession planning. Growing up as the only Black child in the Shetland Islands in the 1980s and my experience in the corporate world has led me to have a strong personal interest in diversity and inclusion in the workplace and that has set the foundations for my business.In 2018, when we embarked upon a new direction for the business, there were no Black chairmen or chief executives (Sunday Times 2018). So, our goal is simple – 30 by 2030. We want to place 30 black leaders into FTSE 250 C-Suite and/ or board roles by 2030. And we will get there by listening to our clients’ needs, finding the best diverse talent and creating holistic talent pipelines.
