About Marcus Vasquez

I became fascinated on the impacts of electronics and modern technology. Playing video games or getting an instant result by inserting a question I had into a computer, intrigued me. I became encouraged to learn how these machines worked. When opportunities arose to learn more about these systems, I jumped at them. Whether it was taking web applications in middle school or computer science in high school. I would soon learn to code in Java and gain a basic understanding of how these machines worked. This left me wanting to learn more and become part of the future of technology.This curiosity led me to pursuing an Electronics Systems Engineering Technology degree from Texas A&M University. Here I was able to not only take a deep dive into the circuitry of these machines but also how to code and understand control systems. My studies have included learning how to operate microcontrollers in C and with assembly language. I was able to understand control systems and create a robot that utilized a sensor board to complete a magnetic wire track. I joined the T.U.R.T.L.E robotics team where I will be able to use the knowledge I have gained in the classroom to be a part of an engineering team that will create a robot. Specialties include: C, Assembly in C, Java, Labview, MatlabCertifications: Lean six sigma yellow belt, Microsoft Word, Mircosoft Powerpoint
