About Marcus Uhlig
Hi, my name is Marcus Uhlig. I am a rising senior at the University of Oklahoma majoring in Finance with a minor in Accounting. I am a hardworking, organized leader who is results-oriented and a great team member. This summer, I was an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Opportune, where my responsibilities included evaluating and producing deliverables for multiple live upstream energy deals. Previously in 2023, I worked with AllianceBernstein, where I had the opportunity to collaborate directly with deal teams in evaluating investment opportunities through intensive three-statement models, participating in multiple rounds of investment committees. In addition to my work experience, I was selected as a candidate associate for the JCPenney Leadership Program, a highly selective program focusing on developing the leadership skills of motivated students at the Price College of Business. I also served as the President of The Wall Street Sooners, a student-led selective banking club that strives to place members in competitive finance roles. Through my leadership experience, I have learned how to motivate a team and adopt a servant leadership approach rather than a commanding one.
