I defend physicians, physician assistants and nurses before their Texas licensing boards and litigate cases before the State Office of Administrative Hearings to protect those licenses. I regularly advise practicing physicians regarding employment issues, breach of contract, covenants not to compete, and partnership disputes. I serve as corporate counsel to various hospice, home health and transition assistance service providers. I frequently provide risk management consulting regarding protected health information and compliance with the Food, Drug & Cosmetic Act. I manage the firm\'s civil litigation, including plaintiff personal injury, pharmaceutical and medical device cases and whistle-blower actions. I continued to serve as a member of the Plaintiff Steering Committee in MDL 1905: In Re Sprint Fidelis. I served in various leadership positions with the American Association for Justice including Chair of the Minority Caucus and Diversity Committee. I handle cases in state and federal court, including trials. I also litigate cases where arbitration is a contractual requirement.
