This position performs various Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program activities including, but not limited to:* Interview Housing Choice applicants/participants to obtain all necessary documentation and complete files as required.* Ensure all required information is compiled and maintained in the applicant/participant file. Determine eligibility and/or ineligibility, verifies data, processes application, issues voucher, and conduct home visits, if necessary.* Assist client with inquiries and/or problems concerning their housing needs; provide direction regarding responses and resolutions to client inquiries.* Provide landlord interface assistance to include but not limited to abatement and inspections.* Investigate client issues requiring expertise in determining causes; to include inquires of potential fraud and misuse of funding; suggest and direct action plan for resolutions.
