ABOUT MARCUS SHEPPARD

Started my telecoms journey at deregulation in 1994 in the City of London with MFS Communications. During the last 20 years I\'ve had the great pleasure of working into the financial services vertical, most recently owning and growing the relationship with a UK national bank for 10 years. Working primarily in account management in a b2b environment with some outstanding colleagues at various organisations. Information Communication Technology Professional with 30+ years in Sales Management roles / Profit & Loss / Revenue Generation Experienced ICT professional who drives a consultative approach to new relationships and long term sales strategy. Sales Management Strategic account targeting Sales trained (Miller Heiman) Network Deployments In the fast-paced world of financial services, where split-second decisions can result in millions of pounds gained or lost, speed and security are paramount. As financial institutions increasingly rely on technology to power everything from real-time transactions to global trading platforms, the infrastructure that supports these systems must be robust, fast, and secure. This is where fibre optic internet plays a critical role. Fibre optic networks offer the high-speed connectivity and security that financial institutions need to operate efficiently in today’s digital landscape. Neos Networks can help, whatever your requirement: •We own a national fibre network. We can dedicate fibres on those routes for use by individual customers; far more cost effective than digging full routes. •We work with regional fibre partners and, where it makes sense for the customer, we can aggregate (interconnect) our routes with theirs to get closer to target customer sites. •When new digs are necessary we have our own contracting teams. We manage these projects in-house, dealing with planning and wayleaves internally, and commissioning construction works to our own very exacting engineering and safety standards. Plus, we now use the waste water systems \'FiS\'(fibre in the sewers) having a strategic contract in place with Thames Water, this is expanding to other national water companies. •Ultimately, these fibres are usually ‘lit’ with wave division multiplexing equipment, delivering custom wavelengths for each application. We can provide and manage those services for you – or you can run them yourself.
