ABOUT MARCUS PIGGOTT
My journey toward becoming a Business Analyst started during my graduate studies in business management at the Schulich School of Business at York University. While pursuing my degree, I became increasingly interested in the strategic aspects of business operations and began researching different career paths that aligned with my interests. After graduation, I landed a job as a Junior Business Analyst at a small consulting firm, where I gained invaluable experience working on various projects in the utilities industry. Over the past year, I have honed my skills in requirements gathering and analysis, process modelling, data analysis and reporting, business case development, project management, change management, and stakeholder engagement and management. I am also proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. I have also completed an IIBA-certified course to demonstrate my commitment to continuous learning and professional development. One of my proudest accomplishments as a Business Analyst was designing and implementing an effective solution for a client that resulted in identifying bottlenecks within project delivery to decrease the number of change requests within the corporation. Through careful analysis of key performance indicators, gathering requirements from the business, conducting conference calls and presentations, creating a Requirement Management Plan, and managing a Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies, Decision (RAIDD) log, I was able to deliver exceptional results that exceeded the client\'s expectations.
