ABOUT MARCUS MOATES

I’ve been a cannabis advocate as long as I can remember. Started extracting BHO in 2008 & non solvent in 2001. Studied Mechanical & Industrial Engineering at the UofA Fayetteville & ASU Tempe, with a focus on math and science. Started Nature’s Lab Extractions in ‘08 as well as white-labeled and helped build several brand in the THC & CBD Industries. Did quite well in the competition circuit with Dab a Doo Colombia, Hightimes in multiple states, Chalice & 805oiler fest in California, & even an event in Chile & Spain. I learned traditional ice water extraction from Mila Jansen, the hash queen, in 2017. Operated as an Operational Consultant for MedMen in Q3 2019 to Q3 2020. Currently an Operational Consultant for Flower One in North Las Vegas Nevada since Q3 2020 to current. Natures Lab Extracts’ Nevada line is grown & produced exclusively a Flower One. Became the original Chief Scientific Officer for 22Red, a cannabis brand by Shavo Odadjian from System of a Down, in 2019 Q2 to Current. Became the Director of Product Development for Redbird Bioscience in Oklahoma in September 2021 until January 2022. Now we are merging with Cookies CRE to bring NLE to the next phase of growth. I have also taken the position of Vice President of Extractions at Cookies Retail to help set up & develop SOPs and new SKUs in the concentrate & edible lines. Began to experiment with psilocybin extraction early on and have developed several extraction paths as well as secondary products and R&D. Currently in the process of designing the brand.
