ABOUT MARCUS JOSEPH

Determined to bring much needed change to the Canadian housing market through the power of spatial analytics and my extensive knowledge of the multi-family real estate industry. My current responsibility involves using Geographical Information Systems to identify land parcels that would be best suited for the construction of various types of Multi-family developments across Canada. In my time with Broadstreet Properties and Seymour Pacific Developments, I have produced reports that have helped justify the construction of over 30 apartment projects from Vancouver Island, to Ottawa, which has resulted in the development of approximately 5,900 multi-family rental units. I am also solely responsible for the creation of a professional GIS platform that has revolutionized the property acquisition departments ability to evaluate land parcels, and communicate information to the Executive team.My ultimate goal is to continue to use my knowledge of property acquisitions, land development and spatial analytics to be responsible for the creation of a variety of housing types that will help balance the current Canadian housing market. When not focused on work I can be found doing anything outdoors and active. Hiking, back country camping, surfing, fishing, and rock climbing, are all activities that I enjoy the most in my free time. My other passions also include playing the guitar, natural photography, and cherishing time with family and friends.
