Began as an enlisted Field Artillery Soldier and NCO, leading artillery operations, integrating joint fires, and coordinating complex mission support; commissioned through the Green-to-Gold ROTC program as a Distinguished Military Graduate.Led 8 commands from team/squad level to brigade and installation command, including Special Forces Operational Detachment Alpha (two assignments), Special Operations Recruiting Company, Field Artillery Training Battalion, and Installation/Garrison Brigade in combat.Deployed 25 times in support of Army, joint, and combined operations. Directed strategic communications, operational assessments, professional development initiatives, and multinational training programs to enhance readiness and operational effectiveness.Served tactically as Platoon Leader (rifle, mortar, support), Company Executive Officer, Cavalry Squadron Assistant Plans Officer, and ROTC Officer Recruiter. Operationally, established and led the International Special Operations Forces Training Center in Iraq and multiple Joint Interagency, Intergovernmental, and Multinational Task Forces. Strategically, held senior staff roles at Joint Special Operations Command, U.S. Army Special Operations Command, Combined and Special Operations Joint Task Forces, Theater Special Operations Commands, and USSOCOM.Current role: J8 Assessment Director, USSOCOM – oversees enterprise-wide assessment, resource prioritization, and capability optimization for a $15B annual /$75B five-year portfolio to enhance joint operational readiness.Next assignment will be State of Arkansas Inspector General for the Department of the Army and the Arkansas National Guard.
