ABOUT MARCUS DONNELLY
I am currently working as a Manufacturing Engineer in Thompson Aero Seating. I currently work in the Plastics department where the team and I are responsible for the production of of parts essential to the design of our premium bespoke seating solutions. I am currently gaining experience using CAD/CAM software, learning about and trouble shooting 5 axis CNC machines and vacuum forming machines, and ensuring parts conform with/surpass our customers expectations. I graduated from Ulster University with a first class honours in Biomedical Engineering (BSc) in 2022. During my studies I gained 15 months industrial placement experience in a world leading medical device company using change control systems, validation protocols, statistical analysis and lean methodologies in a heavily regulated industry. I have also gained experience working with and testing sterile barrier seal systems, validating automated equipment and carrying out continuous improvement projects.I have a passion for sport and I am a recipient of the Talented Athlete Scholarship in Ulster University.
