   As a Sr. System Engineer (SE) I will perform all facets of the AGILE Scrum Master for the Land Processes Distributed Active Archive Center (LP DAAC). I will lead planning of work activities; remove impediments; evaluate new system requirements and team skills, and work with USGS and NASA business sponsors to understand business needs/value to proposed solutions and alternatives. I will direct the daily activities of a development team plus operations engineers and operators. I will also establish priorities for the completion of assigned tasks according to NASA SAFe Agile goals and objectives. I will rely upon my experience, interpersonal skills, and broad knowledge of the science field to ensure task completion in compliance with policies, procedures, and business strategy as defined by USGS and NASA.• Scrum Master leading the migration of over 16PB of data to AWS• Work with AWS Cost Phasing, AWS Metrics and Cloud to Cloud Migration• Operational Engineering: Creating Wiki’s, SOPs and supporting OPS as they manage ingest and distribution of our satellite imagery• Support test planning, procedure creation and system test execution• Support requirement development and management, operational concept and design formulation• Provide system modeling, analysis, hardware estimation and procurement• Provide scope, schedule and budget analysis for software integration of new requirements• Develop in-depth scripting solutions and automated functional testing procedures for the team• Develop and update current and new architecture diagrams
