About Marc Teeter
Maintenance Engineer, Reliability Engineer, Mechanic, Project Manager, Line Cook, Carpenter, and so many more have been titles I have held through my journey of life. I have also been known as multicultural, creative, curious, science and math enthusiast, and father of four. These are but the descriptors of who I am and what I am capable of. My professional responsibilities are shown in my work experience and speak for themselves:My personality and experience outside of work speaks even louder. I am a multicultural person that embraces others cultures to build the bond needed to work together. My interpersonal skills were developed via the following combination of experiences Lived eight years in Berlin, Germany Lived and worked in rural Missouri either on farms or in town Traveled and worked in Haiti and Zambia :When it comes to my curiosity, creativity, my love for science and my math enthusiasm, they all tie together: Creating my own wine from wild yeast and adding a spin on the flavor Brewing my own ales and watching the science behind it take grain sugars into a flavorful and delightful beverage Building and understanding the science and math behind the strength and weakness of a structureGaining a better understanding of our biology and how this can and will be carried over into technology :Lastly, the most important part of me is my wife and four children. They not only provide a foundation at home but they also push me in my knowledge base and creative thinking. The following are just a few things that make me a better-rounded person: Explaining hundreds of questions a week to my oldest who is also into science Working on my creative skills by designing and building with my children Developing my skills and capabilities to handle stressful and chaotic situations with four children Continuing developing my language and cultural intelligence with my wife from HaitiWith all this said, this gives you a brief glimpse of me. My experiences dive into what I have done but knowing my personality is just as important. I have a desire to create, be intellectually challenged, help others, and be there for my wife and children.
