Chief administrative officer for the Town of Ludlow responsible to the Board of Selectmen for the proper operation of town affairs. Supervise and direct all officials appointed by the Board of Selectmen and their respective departments. Attend all Town Meetings and answer questions from Town Meeting members. Responsible for the rental, use, maintenance, repair and development of a comprehensive maintenance program for town facilities. Serve as the Chief Procurement Officer and be responsible for the purchase of all supplies, materials, and equipment and approve the award of contracts for all town departments. Develop and maintain a full and complete inventory of all town-owned real and personal property. Administer personnel policies, practice, and rules and compensation plans for all municipal employees. Negotiate all contracts with town employees. Prepare and submit an annual operating budget and capital improvements program.
