I lead a team developing and applying simulation models to quantify greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and removals in agricultural projects. Our work focuses on scaling the use of these models across diverse geographies to enable the development of high-quality carbon credits. I ensure compliance with leading voluntary carbon market standards, such as the VCS, to facilitate project approval and credit issuance.Our biggest milestone yet: Agreena has become the first in our industry to achieve validation by VERRA under the VM0042 methodology. VERRA is a leading, highly recognizable standards developer for the carbon market industry. Modeling plays a pivotal role in the VERRA methodology, and this pioneering validation underscores the strength of our modeling approach. This achievement marks a major success for our team.
