Co-founded the Latin America Investment Banking team at Scotiabank to offer strategic advice to the Bank\'s clients in Latin America or interested in entering this market. I am currently responsible for leading origination and execution of M&A and ECM mandates to both strategic clients and financial sponsors, structuring cross-border transactions, and managing a diverse team of vice presidents, associates and analysts across Latin America. My experience at Scotiabank is primarily focused on mandates related to infrastructure (toll roads, ports, airports), power generation (incl. renewables), utilities, telecommunications infrastructure (data center, fiber and wireless towers) and healthcare. In total, I have led more than 30 M&A mandates with aggregate transaction value of more than US$ 20 billion and equity capital raising of around US$ 5 billion.
