I was born and raised in Costa Rica and came to the US to become the first in my family to graduate from college. I went one step further and also earned a Master’s degree with a STEM designation along the way. I am a natural-born problem solver and take pride in my ability to see the big picture, be resourceful, analyze, plan, and execute with a relentless focus on going the extra mile. Although my parents didn’t teach me about school, they taught me about resilience, adaptability, and persistence to succeed. Skills that money can’t buy. Growing up in a low-income family and becoming an immigrant in the US has shaped my unique perspectives and aspirations. To go above and beyond when an opportunity arises. I take great pride in teamwork and empathy. This is why I love finance and innovation, and they function as societal tools that allow individuals and startups to overcome financial hurdles and accelerate growth.
