In 40+ years of professional activity, Dr. Rosignoli has been working in 24 countries on 4 continents on the design, design review, construction, and forensic engineering of complex bridges and bridge construction machines. His assignments include 14 cable-stayed bridges, 12 arch/portal bridges, 33 incrementally launched bridges, 11 balanced-cantilever bridges, 4.9km of span-by-span bridges, 24.8km of high-speed railway spans, and 72.8km of precast-segmental bridges. He has also reviewed the design of 2 self-launching gantries, 6 movable scaffolding systems, 2 span carriers with underbridge, some form travelers, and the construction means & methods of 23 incrementally launched bridges.International expert of mechanized bridge construction and the incremental launching method, Dr. Rosignoli has written 4 bridge engineering books published worldwide, 16 bridge engineering eManuals, Chapter 6.37.40 “Bridge Erection Machines” in the UNESCO Encyclopedia of Life Support Systems, 3 book chapters, and dozens of publications and lectures. Founder and chair of IABSE Working Group WG-6 Bridge Construction Equipment, Dr. Rosignoli owns the Bridge Design & Construction forum in LinkedIn members worldwide) and teaches 1- and 2-day courses of modern bridge design and construction technology for the ASBI, ASCE, and face-to-face in the offices of bridge owners, designers and constructors.

As a freelance micro-consultancy specializing in structural forensics, we investigate failure. Bridges, bridge construction machines, and their interactions. We analyze design and construction flaws, identify and assess standards of care, deliver expert advice and testimony, and educate non-technical parties on bridge design and construction. And we do offer knowledge and learning to the bridge community. Dr. Rosignoli’s bridge engineering books are published worldwide by the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Institution of Civil Engineers (London, UK), Thomas Telford and the UNESCO, and his e-books, courses, and LinkedIn forum are followed by tens of thousands of bridge professionals.
