ABOUT MARCO PINATO
Hi, I’m Marco!Here are a few facts about me. I’m a Mechatronics Engineer by training, but I’ve always loved computers. Wrote my first program when I was 12 - in Python, I already had taste - then drifted towards robotics. Around 2016, I fell in love with machine learning - TensorFlow had just been released at the time - and never looked back.In my work, I wrote code for the most disparate fields: medical imaging analysis, signal processing and even web apps. From 8-bit microcontrollers to cloud GPU clusters, that is to say. It all came in handy in 2021, when I co-founded Compiuta.These days, my daily job is very different from what it used to be: I\'m trying to share as much of my learnings as I can - hopefully you\'ll be able to avoid some of my mistakes.I dedicate most of my writing time to Compiuta’s blog. I also have a personal blog where I sometimes post what goes through my mind.
