ABOUT MARCO MONACO

I am an experienced and result oriented Business Partner focused on Strategic and Financial Planning, Business Analysis with a proven ability in working in different international business environments. I am currently working as Senior Manager, Brand & Markets Operations in Bang & Olufsen with previous experiences both in the markets (as Head of Sales and Operations for North America in New York City) and at the Headquarter as Head of Global Business Finance at B&O PLAY by Bang & Olufsen. KEY STRENGHTS: Highly motivated person, always searching for new challenges and new targets. I am contributing through my strong analytical skills in taking difficult and strategic decisions for the business. Positive energy and cooperation abilities helped me to achieve high teamworking skills. Strong International background achieved through work experiences both across Europe and North America and close collaboration with Asian markets. RESULTS: In my two years in New York City I have been leading the Wholesale and Sales Operations team for North America, where we have been expanding our branded presence both in Mono-brand, in Multi-brand and in eCommerce channels. Previously, I have supported the start-up of B&O PLAY, the “on the go” product line of Bang & Olufsen, ensuring the sustainability and profitability of the business. Through efficient Business Planning, Business Analysis and a tight but expansive cost control, we succeeded, since the start of 2012, in launching several new products, developing the alternative distribution to more than new selling points and reaching out several new thousands customers for Bang & Olufsen. In five years we went from zero to 1,2 billions DKK yearly revenue.
