ABOUT MARCO DICKNER
Experience - Expertise - Leadership I am currently Towers Watson’s Montreal retirement leader. As such, I am responsible of the business development and the Canadian Group Annuity Purchase Team (GAPT). I am part of the Canadian Retirement Leadership Team as well as a senior consultant actuary for some of Towers Watson’s largest clients. In my role with the GAPT, I have been developing innovative ways to execute annuity purchase transactions, establishing key relationships with insurers, publishing articles and presenting at various conferences. As a lead retirement consultant, I have been managing complex projects such as DB & DC plan design, bulk lump-sum, annuity purchases, asset liability modeling and governance. I am also responsible for managing client relationships including senior management and boards. I spent the first five years of my career working in Calgary in the Oil and Gas industry which allowed me to gain a broader range of experience and establish valuable contacts.
