ABOUT MARCO CORTESE
I began my career as a Structural Designer at Leonardo Company in 2006, where I spent nearly nine years improving my skills in various engineering concepts and software, including Catia V4 and V5. This experience also allowed me to participate in Material Review Engineering training at Lockheed Martin Corporation Texas facility. It was an invaluable opportunity and experience since I spent several months closely with an exceptional team of LM engineers, significantly enhancing my technical knowledge through hands-on training. After completing this training, I spent nearly six years as an MRB Engineer at Leonardo Cameri Plant, primarily supporting the F35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) program. Currently, I am serving as a Flight Test Engineer, following two years as Crew Chief for Experimental Aircraft in the Test and Evaluation department.
