I was in the best athletic shape of my life when I was unexpectedly rushed to the hospital. Three days of recovering from rhabdomyolysis - surrounded by the constant hum of monitors. This ended my college football career, but it ignited a fascination with the engine behind the care. I realized that behind every life-saving intervention is a complex financial infrastructure. Finance is what keeps the lights on, ensures providers are equipped, and makes innovation accessible. That realization shifted my focus from the field to the balance sheet. I am a recent Finance and Data Analytics graduate from Chapman University (magna cum laude), and I have officially returned home to Albuquerque to build my career in the New Mexico healthcare sector. My background is built on a foundation of technical rigor and operational curiosity. My long-term goal is to serve as a CFO within a hospital system, driving the financial sustainability that allows providers to focus on what matters most: patient outcomes.
