Enhanced the value of Source to Pay function as a true strategic business partner through several key initiatives and operating model changes ultimately moving from category buying to a more entrepreneurial approach where accountability lies with business outcomes. This is supported through better process and proactive analysis, but also a service management practice that aligns Line of Business and department executives to me and my leadership team to ensure both strategic sourcing roadmaps and business imperatives are in synch for optimal results. From the outside, further drove the vendor management program leading to increased level of supplier partnership resulting in improved business opportunities, innovation, and overall performance. While developing our Sustainable Procurement, we have positioned Guardian to further our environment and social impact through targeted supplier diversity, scope 3, and other ESG related areas. Finally, automation has been a focus and through implementing various tools to support Procure to Pay and Source to Contract processes, we have increased throughput, enhanced controls, and decreased turn-around time leading to significantly improved customer satisfaction.
