From pulp & paper to banking via modern distribution, leisure and software industries I have built a solid experience in multinational companies operating in different businesses and economic sectors. Having spent most of my career within Finance Department of the Companies I had the opportunity to cover roles in almost all the area of Accounting, Planning and Analysis. Aside of this, due to participation to a couple of start-ups and due to re-implementation of accounting systems I have taken an active and leading role in the implementation process, in some cases from the design phase of both the hardware infrastructure and the software and procedures. In my latest experiences I have managed, restructured and reorganized the finance department I have been appointed to. Lately I have moved to a managerial position in a bank start-up in Italy where I have been appointed to manage the Compliance, Regulatory Reporting and Statutory Accounting area for the Italian Branch of a primary US Bank.
