ABOUT MARCO RESTIFO
Ever since I was 16 years old, software and hardware were my passions. I still remember sitting in front of my PC coding. It was magic, being able to get the computer to do whatever I wanted, limited only by my imagination. This passion carried me through my education. I studied new languages, algorithm and higher mathematics all with the same fascination that drove me in adolescence.It was in this period that I learned truly how much there was yet to learn so I continued my studies mixing my passion with research and reaching the title of Ph.D. I’m a Ph.D. in computer science from the Polytechnic of Turin, finally. During my Ph.D. studies I had several industrial experiences due to research projects with STMicroelectronics and Xilinx. My research topics are reliability, testing and functional safety of complex System-on-Chip. Currently, I’m a post doc at the Polytechnic of Turin and I’m looking for an interesting and motivational opportunity.
