ABOUT MARCO RANIERI

Partner of PwC and member of the Task Force Infrastructure of PwC Italy, I am a chartered engineer, both in Italy and in UK, with vast experience in the Infrastructure, Engineering & Construction and Transport sector. I have gained my expertise in strategic and management consulting, working in Italy and abroad, assisting public and private clients operating in the infrastructure sector on setting strategy and transactions, improving their operational performance and mitigating risks, embedding sustainability in their core processes. As Project Manager I have coordinated multidisciplinary PMO teams working along the various project phases, from investment planning to design and construction up to O&M phase. I have also developed experience on Digital & Innovation (e.g. BIM and Asset Management) working with our Tech practice, investors, software companies, in order to accelerate the digitization of the industry. Before joining PwC, I worked in the E&C industry for both major engineering firms and main contractors and I had the opportunity to be involved in several major infrastructure projects worldwide. I graduated in Civil Engineer at “La Sapienza” University in Rome and I attended a Master in Business Economics at the Imperial College in London in 2017. I am involved in organizing events and roundtables to enhance engagement and collaboration between stakeholders, share lesson learned and exchange best practices.
