ABOUT MARCO PHILIPPI
Marco Philippi was born in Munich. He studied International Business at Reutlingen University, graduating with a degree in Business Administration (FH). His Master of Business Administration (MBA) focusing on strategy and corporate politics he earned 2003 from EGADE Business School in Monterrey, Mexico.His professional career began in 2004 working for Volkswagen Consulting, the internal management consultancy of the Volkswagen Group. In 2008 he moved to Volkswagen Group\'s headquarters in Wolfsburg and worked in the corporate strategy department for the Volkswagen brand until 2010. From 2010, various positions of responsibility within the group procurement followed. In 2017 he assumed responsibility in a dual-function position for the newly created “Procurement Strategy” area of both the Volkswagen Group and the Volkswagen brand. Marco Philippi moved to AUDI AG in Ingolstadt to become Head of Procurement Strategy on October 1, 2019. He is responsible in this function for managing the strategy and central functions of the division, for sustainability in the supply chain and for innovation management with suppliers.On July 1st, 2023 he was nominated Head of Procurement for Connectivity, Business Models and Software at AUDI AG.
