Quality Management System : Responsible for implementing, maintaining, and improving, based on standards such as IATF 16949 defining procedures, work instructions, and records.Internal and External Audits: Plans and supervises internal audits to ensure compliance with regulations and standards. Manages external audits (by customers, certification bodies), ensuring adequate preparation and resolution of detected nonconformities.2. Product and Process Quality Control : Defines, implements, and monitors quality standards for all phases of the product, from receiving materials to the finished product.Control Plans: Develops and oversees the execution of control plans and failure mode and effect analyses (FMEA) to identify and mitigate potential defect risks.Performance Monitoring: Monitors quality KPIs,PPM, NQC, rework, and customer complaints. Analyzes data to identify trends and areas for improvement.Process and Product Validation: Ensures the proper validation of new processes and products3. Nonconformity Management and Corrective/Preventive Actions : Manages the identification, recording, and analysis of internal and external nonconformities.Leads multidisciplinary teams in applying problem-solving methodologies (e.g, 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa,PDCA) to determine the root causes of nonconformities and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.4. Quality Team Development and Management : Guides, trains, and motivates the plant\'s quality team (quality engineers, laboratory technicians, inspectors).5. Customer and Supplier Relations : Acts as the primary point of contact for quality issues with customers, managing their expectations and ensuring effective and transparent communication. Participates in customer meetings and audits.Suppliers: Collaborates with the purchasing department to qualify and monitor supplier quality performance, ensuring that incoming materials meet required standards. Manages any quality issues with suppliers.
