ABOUT MARCO MELLI

During 25 years of professional experience in the semiconductor industry, I had the opportunity to work in different roles covering many of the aspects relate to the production of integrated circuits. I have worked in an international and multicultural environment filling important positions we started in process engineering, then in product engineering testing and finally in product management and process & methodologies. The punctuality of the goals, continuous improvement, working with a quality approach, and enthusiasm for the technology have characterized my experience in the company, experience that add further knowledge to my professional skills. The areas of expertise that I have developed are the following - The management of an engineering laboratory, customer and qualification samples. This function also including the layout and facility management, installation, maintenance and development of tools for engineering tools boards and instrumentation- The development of tools for testing together with suppliers. These tools are used for production both front-end to back-end- Implementation of the quality system in all areas, including laboratory managed. Follow-up of audits and certification to ISO / TS- Product Management for new products ramp-up, improve yields and productivity- The Microsoft SharePoint used for internal communication and storage of documentation in different areas of the division (Marketing / Engineering / R&D). Access policies, support for users- Process Engineering especially for diffusion of silicon, equipment engineer, CAM / CAD and statistical analysis. The activities of integration and transfer of production processes between factories. The solid information technology back-ground and passion for electronics and technology round out my profile.
