A ‘Human Being’ is an integrated and complex system that, in a rehabilitation context, needs a global approach. Having dealt with well-being for years, I’ve devised a “global” device to provide the functional rehabilitation specialist with an access key, which, through the visual system, easily and quickly sets the sensory and movement systems free from a strict framework and prepares the body to accept and learn any process of intervention by means of the procedures and methods used. I’ve been dealing with prevention and visual education for 30 years and since 1995 I’ve been employing my knowledge devising and making tools for this purpose (they are known as VTE instruments). Passion, experience and the growth subsequent to an interdisciplinary approach, have encouraged me to study and find a specific solution to the symptoms associated with the closing of the sensory system creating the inefficiency of the visual functions affecting the trigeminal nerve and reducing the global well-being. Headache, shorter attention span and multi-sensory management, respiratory impairment and freedom of movement, interference in the bio-mechanic performance are the most frequent disorders shown by the investigation. The SiXDEVICE™ sensory prisms are the innovative solution that I’ve devised working for 12 years, pursuing the objective: “harmony of visual information to recover sensory experience”. The device and its rehab use are registered with Italian patent for invention, recognized also in the USA and in the EU.
