I’ve worked across automotive and manufacturing for over 20 years. Most of that time has been spent building and leading teams, winning work, and solving the kind of problems that sit between engineering and commercial delivery.Having worked as Managing Director of Ryobi Aluminium Casting UK. It was a tough time for the sector, with a steep rise in energy costs, constantly increasing pressures by OEMs, and supply chain headaches all hitting at once. But we kept things moving, made some smart changes, and built a stronger team in the process, preparing ourselves for the years ahead.So far I have had the privilege to work for two multinational companies, one with head office in North America and one homebased in Japan. Both have been great experiences and working with different cultures definitely helps creating to have an open mind.What I’ve always enjoyed is helping good businesses get better. That might mean opening new markets, reshaping operations, or just creating the right space for people to step up.Now I’m ready for something new and hopefully will be able, to bring clarity, structure, and momentum to a business that’s going places.
