ABOUT MARCO DODIER

Leading a business and a team from SMALL to BIG in a healthy, positive, and profitable way is what I do best. Making a positive impact in my clients’ lives, innovating, creating great jobs, developing talent, and being surrounded by high quality, loyal people with great values are what I am most proud of.Launching my first business in 1996 when I was 21 years old and growing it organically and profitably to the point that Bell Canada bought it eight years later, I learned something important: the drivers, structure, and recipes that are going to make your startup successful could eventually prevent it from reaching the next level. Learning to evolve and adapt is the key driver to support healthy growth. Having a clear vision and mission and being able to bring people together around it is the essential spark.Leading multiple innovative businesses and projects since then, and through successful growth, I also learned that growing pains and challenges are almost always the same; they happen at the same stage and the solutions are similar, no matter what your business does. If you want to grow a business to its full potential, you need to embrace, inspire, communicate, lead, and love change. But more importantly, you need to understand what needs to be changed, when, and why.As a proud father of four amazing kids, I’ve learned that leading a team and being a dad have a lot in common. You want your children to reach their full potential, grow in judgment, do what’s right, act with empathy, be passionate and honest, and make a meaningful impact. You forget yourself and would sacrifice anything for them. Ultimately, your goal is for them to be independent and better than you. Isn’t that what great leadership is all about?
