1.5 years experience in a newly founded blitz scaling startup, 1.5 years experience in a newly founded fast scaling startup and 2+ years experience in a startup after its first few fast scaling periods. 3 Startups but in 7 different positions. You may wonder why. I see myself as a generalist who feels comfortable in the early stages of a start-up (up to 100 employees) and performs various functions as needed, whether exploring new products and technologies or tackling issues that lack a well-defined solution. Responsibility makes me thrive. Solving problems is what I enjoy. The idea of becoming a specialist or aspiring to a functional leadership title, on the other hand, not as much. Practically it means that I like to be deployed as a firefighter to tackle the most urgent problems, to figure it out in a matter of weeks and then being redeployed again. By having gone through this process several times, my skill sets have become flexible enough in order to pivot along with the company quickly.
