ABOUT MARCO CREMONESI

I started my career in ARUP NY as civil engineer in 2011 during my Master Degree. After my Master graduation in structural engineering I started in CREW-CREMONESI WORKSHOP as junior engineer in 2013. CREW was an architectural and structural design firm composed by 20 designer with a Turnover of around 3 M€. Thanks to my communicational and organizational skills I rapidly changed my orientation from the structural analysis to the Project Management where I have supervised a couple of projects in Italy. My ability to the negotiation of claims with clients brought my career development towards the Business Development sector in 2016. Under my supervision as Business Developer the office finalized several important deal both in the Middle East and in Italy. Due to that I became a partner and general manager of CREW in 2017 and I was also the Legal representative of the new office located in Dubai with the task of overseeing the projects in the Middle East Area. The grow of the office from 2013 to 2018 was very fast and we move from 20 designer and 3 M€ of Turnover, to 65 designer and 10 M€ of turnover in 2018. As general manager I was in charge both of the business development and contract negotiation, but I was also in charge of the KPI analysis and control, the HR assumption, and the financial statement preparation. In March 2018 CREW-CREMONESI workshop received an expression of interest from 2 major international company to enter as shareholder of the company. I have run the negotiation, under the supervision of the CEO, in order to evaluate the proper value of the shares of CREW. In December we reached an agreement on the company value with ITALFERR, the biggest Italian Engineering Design company (340 M€ of turnover), owned by FS-The Italian National Railway Group (12 B€ of Turnover). Due to the new shareholder there was a reconfiguration of the management, and I became Commercial Director (maintaining my shares). During my experience as Commercial Director I finalized several contract in the infrastructure, waste to energy and sport sector for the company, especially in Italy, Middle East and North of Europe. In January 2023 I became Chief Operating Officer of CREW with responsability on- Business Development and Acquisition - Project Management Office - Marketing and Communication
