I possess over 32 years experience in preparation and implementation of nuclear safety, environmental health and safety, Type B transportation, and quality assurance policies and programs and business operations. I possess direct and relevant experience in developing design requirements for hazardous/radiological material handling equipment, specializing in operator-interface safety systems design to support highly hazardous operations and designating safety equipment for nuclear applications. I possess direct and relevant management and professional experience in planning, developing and establishing nuclear safety programs, QA programs, occupational safety and health programs, beryllium safety programs and health and safety plans acceptable to executive management, U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) field and Headquarters offices, and U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) licensed facilities. I have authored and contributed to numerous nuclear safety documents and occupational safety and industrial hygiene programs/procedures, and have provided instruction and mentoring for personnel at several DOE sites.
