ABOUT MARCO BITETTI
I currently lead the Asset Intelligence unit at Terna, driving the adoption of advanced digital solutions to enhance the efficiency, sustainability, and resilience of Italy’s electricity transmission system. Until mid-2024, I was the Head of Terna Academy at Terna SpA, where I led the Corporate Learning Hub, supporting the professional development of over employees and enhancing the Academy\'s role as a strategic partner for Terna’s growth, digitalization, and sustainability. With an Executive MBA and ~25 years of experience in IT project management, business process re-engineering, and HR process management, I bring a unique combination of technical, business, and people skills to my role. I consider myself versatile, open-minded, enthusiastic, and proactive: I have lately developed a keen interest in GenAI, which I am actively studying to stay ahead of future trends: Extensive experience in comprehending business requirements and delivering optimal IT solutions, while effectively managing budget and project constraints: A tenacious and logical problem solver with a strong analytical ability, adopting a pragmatic, data-driven, and results-focused approach: Naturally agile in managing and coordinating team activities, building cohesive teams, and excelling in multitasking environments: Resourceful and intellectually curious, with a passion for lifelong learning.
