ABOUT MARCO BERNARDI

With over 35 years of experience in the tourism and hospitality industry, including 19 years within the Alpitour Group, I have accumulated experiences and expertise in specific sectors. It all began with customer assistance at holiday resorts, then I moved on to the Product department as a Product Manager, and finally, I served as the manager of the Groups/Incentives and Major Clients department with direct management of a team of 50 people distributed across various offices in Italy. After a stint in the publishing world as a General Director and Board Member, I returned to the tourism industry, engaging in various consultancy and management activities in Travel Agencies and Distribution Networks, both in the Product and Commercial and Marketing domains. In 2014, I began my career in the field of tourist incoming as a Contracting Manager at Meeting Point Italia DMC, overseeing the following regions: Piedmont, Liguria, Lombardy, Trentino-Alto Adige, Emilia-Romagna, and Tuscany. Since 2016, I have held the position of Commercial Manager at Chiesa Viaggi Srl, a Tour Operator specializing in bus travel in Italy and Europe, with marketing operations covering Northern Italy. In this role, I am responsible for managing and coordinating the Groups and Business Travel Office, which includes 9 promoters and 4 travel agencies. Since 2018, I have been the Business Development Manager at Innovenia Srl, a tourism group that includes the Tour Operators Hoppete, Elvy Tours, Pesci Viaggi, and the Touris agencies in Turin and Genoa. Since 2022, I have been working as a Corporate Consultant. Assuming various roles has provided me with a strong understanding of the tourism industry in its various facets, and I have also developed skills in procurement, sales, and human resource management.
