The United Nations Office in Geneva, Switzerland (UNOG) is the center of multi-lateral international diplomacy. The UNOG building complex serves primarily as a conference center. It consists of approximately 34 conference rooms, 2800 offices and staff, it host approximately an average of delegates and visitors per year from all over the world. UNOG has launched the Strategic Heritage Plan (SHP) to preserve and rehabilitate the Palais des Nations in Geneva for the future generations.Responsibilities/Tasks in the SHP Project:• Responsibility for the assembly and co-ordination of departmental space requirements for master and detailed planning purposes• Produce and deliver space utilisation plans, benchmarks, strategic scenarios and costed business cases based on the UNOG’s current and future needs of space with the aim of minimising capital and revenue costs associated to the property portfolio• Providing detailed projections and analysis on the physical requirements to inform UNOG policy on space management• Set up and maintain a database, based on Archibus IWMS. Ensuring data integrity and consistency in spatial information. Preparation of data analytics, statistical and/or graphical information to inform reports on existing and planned developments• Formulation of procedures and standards for space planning and space utilisation• Contribute in the compilation of the Estates & Infrastructure Strategy, as part of the Strategic Plan• Lead the Space Planning strategy and restacking plans, own the office occupancy planning and coordinate the move managers for the planning and execution of moves• Act as the single point of contact for stakeholders\' space questions: manage and resolve major space requests; provide blocking and stacking plans; develop sequencing plans for relocations; maintain allocation plans and assess the workplace conditions• Ownership of occupancy data and all move and change processes
