In 2014, I invented the Leaf Burrito in the front yard of my house, out of frustration from filling single-use bags with yard waste. In the course of building this business, I have developed relationships with municipal solid waste staff throughout the country, learning about all of the \"pain-points\" a municipality has regarding the collection and disposing of yard waste. The major concerns range from protection of sanitation workers, to clogged storm drains and the purity of the resulting compost. Leaf Burrito\'s design addresses each of these issues, and so many more, while simultaneously making the arduous task of yard work an easier experience for the homeowner. It is designed to last 10+ years, making it the most sustainable option for yard waste collection. In addition to residential use, landscape companies and universities worldwide have recognized the enormous benefits, while helping their bottom line and meeting sustainability goals.I am proud to say that the product has developed such a following that it is now available in Lowe\'s Home Improvement stores.
