Marc Latman advises institutional clients on equipment financing and secured lending transactions with a focus on aviation-related assets. A partner in Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP\'s New York office, Marc has worked on lease and debt financings for \"big ticket\" equipment, stadiums, oil refineries and public-private partnership infrastructure projects. His clients include lenders, borrowers, equity participants, operators, lessors and lessees in asset-based financings.Additionally, Marc has had significant exposure to cross-border transactions, and has worked in the area of fractional share ownership of aircraft, including drafting the contractual documentation for start-up regional fractional share ownership programs. Marc is experienced in negotiating restructurings of equipment financing transactions both inside and outside of bankruptcy and regularly counsels clients, including governments, operators and financiers, with respect to the “Cape Town Convention” and is a frequent author and lecturer on the topic.Marc\'s experience also includes general lending work on behalf of both lender and borrowers.
